I'm a storyteller. An observer. A constantly curious nerd... I love researching and developing visual narratives. I'm passionate about photographic projects that allow me to blend education, sociocultural issues, documentary, and travel.

I honed my photojournalism skills at Boston University, and hold a MS in Journalism. I was a student of Anthropology, Latin American Studies and Spanish at Haverford College in Pennsylvania. I studied Anthropology and Archeology at the Universidad de Costa Rica, and in Bolivia as part of the School for International Training’s ethnographic film summer program. I'm also an alum of the Kalish Visual Editing Workshop.

I am currently based in the Washington, DC metro area. I have recently edited pictures for AARP, Smithsonian Magazine, National Geographic, Discovery Communications, and Education Week.
